Well the question has been answered. One of our hens laid her first egg today. Granted it was in the run and not a nesting box, but they are starting to lay. Seems early since we got them as "day old" chicks on April 15, but at least one is now a laying hen...apparently...We're heading into week 16. So maybe 2-4 weeks? Its hard to say. Everyone seems to have a different estimate for when Golden Comets start to lay.
