Beware...chicken wire is not predator proof.
Invest in 1/2 inch hardware cloth if possible.
Thanks so so much for the suggestion! I read about the hardware cloth only very recently and intend on buying. Right now they are kept indoors in an actual building so nothing can get to them, but when the coop is finished they'll be outside permanently. For now they go in a chicken wire area that I let them play in on cool days and I sit about 2ft away on my bench to supervise. Again, thank you so much for the advice!

I might also mention I don't think you have EEs.
I've been a little suspicious about that! They look a lot like Welsummers and I've heard TSC isn't the most reliable on getting the breed/gender you're supposed to. But I'm no expert so I thought they might've just been a very peculiar EE mix! 😆

Hey from the UK! Welcome to BYC it's lovely to have you here 😀 lots of useful knowledge and advice on here and everyone trys to assist with any questions or queries. I don't think they EE they look like mixes (kinda silkie heads don't u think ,?) All look to be pullets at 11 weeks tho xx
