I got my first Chickiebabies on March 10. I have 6 total, 2 which I was told were Ameraucanas (Serena the bully and Agatha), a mouthy Silver Laced Wyandotte (Sylvie), a mouthier Gold Laced Wyandotte (Goldie) and my little Sapphire Gem lovies (Adelaide and Molly).
They are so fun to watch and I was excited to build my own coop (from a kit, but still...)
I also am an avid knitter and knitwear designer. I left my 19 year career in a male dominated field where I literally had to claw my way to the top for recognition and respect to care for my Mother-in-law who has Alzheimers. In light of this I love anything new and interesting that I can do at home.
I have two spoiled dogs, 4 fat cats and a rabbit named Cecil. I'm excited for my chicken adventure!
