Hi All,
I just joined up so bit excited and as my name says it all I am a Chookie Rookie. My real name is Emmalene and I live in a very remote mining town in Western Australia. I have gone a little mental and cut down the kids cubby house, converted it into a chicken coop and today Im just adding a outdoor run for my girls so as they are protected from the predators. We have 6 girls, Jewel, Lily, Cutie, Evie, Caramel and Crazy Suzie (she is the nutter in the group, personality plus!) they are all Isa Browns. I was going to get the Wyandotte but when I saw these girls I had to take them home, they looked so sad....my youngest son begged we save them! So that is our little crew, my gorgeous girls
I'm addicted and want more but that will have to wait till we move back to reality!

It's a great breed, we've had red stars for many years.
