Hi myself(Rob) and my partner(shirley)are very exited about being owners to our whee flock. We are very new to owning chickens and well have 3 birds,2 Warrens and a whee Bantam(Sussex Buff). We live in Manchester, England very close to the Pennine moors. We have 3 children 2.8yrs,10 and 15, our little girl loves digging for worms and feeding them to the chucks.

Hello and

Note about worms: they can carry parasite eggs and diseases that can infect poultry. Best wishes with your wee flock of chooks. ;)

Welcome to BYC!

Worms in limitations are ok. But earthworms are known to carry tapeworms. So keep it down to a dull roar, and it you see any signs of worms later on down the road, get them on a worming program.

If you have any questions about anything, that is what we are here for!

Welcome to our flock!
