Hello everyone... I just bought a coop today.... and plan to get it put together tomorrow.

Welcome---You'll find many agree with that sentiment and concern regarding the pre-fab coops. While it may seem reasonable and frankly economical, it is often limited in size and protection. Nobody wants to jump to conclusions about what you may have purchased but if you're new to chickens I would consider spending some time on this website looking at various coop set ups and maybe even some reviews on the coop that you purchased before opening the box and putting it together as you probably won't be able to return it at that point.

So I purchase the Guardian Coop from Tractor Supply.... Anyone know how to make sure it doesnt blow away
I used small prefab coops for my quail and what I did was bury railroad ties and attach the coop to the ties. This will keep it from blowing away and will prevent predators from digging.
