Hello everyone, just got chicks today :)

I added the apple cider (unfiltered, unpasturized) vineger to their water, and we cleaned all the chicks bottoms first thing this morning, with some warm water and a fine tooth comb to gently clear out the surrounding feathers. As of 9:00pm, they are all in great shape, no clogged bottoms! Thanks for the help! I also added some fine ground raw plain oatmeal to their feed. They sure act hungry and are really cute about eating out of our hands. The Araucanas are so tame and adorable, they almost fall asleep in our hands :) The Silkies are super fiesty and don't like to be held but they are cute as can be, and we love how they fall asleep by face planting into their pine shavings and just ignoring everything.
So far so good, we kept them going for a day and a half - yay! Being such a newbie to chickens, that's a big deal for me :)
