Bluelucky here.. I just bought me a coop and run the other day from TSC and 7- 4 day old Rhode Island red chicks today.
I had 45 chickens when I was around 14 and wanted to raise some more again as another hobby. I do woodworking but mostly Scrollsaw artwork. You can check some out on my website. http://www.luckyscustomscrolling.com/

Great Coop and adorable Chicks .. one has a nice little Chipmunk patern are you sure its not an Easter Egger ? I am certainly no expert on Identifying breeds as chicks ..Either way adorable !

I think they are adorable! I have the same coop, but I bought a second one because it's supposed to house only 4 to 6 chickens - 4 if they are large breeds. Here's the link to a website that sells it with the description:

So if you buy another coop, you are actually one chicken short and you can get another one!

I was wondering what I could feed my little chicks as a treat? They are only 4 days old..

At 1 to 2 weeks I break up meal worms & drop them on top of the chicks. It's funny to watch them scramble around for them. I wasn't sure at first about doing this but they truly love it. Just once a day though.
