My name is Tim. Just joined BYC this morning. I always had chickens growing up on the family farm (50+) Now I live in The mountains in Colorado at an elevation of 8500 feet.
We ordered day old chicks in July. We now have 2 roosters and 27 hens. We have Delewares, Buff Orps, Black Australorps, Barred Rocks and Golden Laced Wyandottes. Oh, our free chick is a Partridge Cochin rooster and he is beautiful!! Never been a fan of the feather footed breeds, but he is pretty awesome.
Anyways, I'm happy to be a part of the group

Welcome to BYC, Tim. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a nice mix of breeds. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

glad you decided to join us and congrats on getting the flock.

That sounds like a lovely mixed flock.

Good luck with all and enjoy the forums.

We live at about 9700 feet in Park County, Colorado, have a solar home & solar coops. I love my feather footed chickens because they are more cold hardy. Just a little FYI, great luck with the flock. I agree, Cochins are awesome.
