Hello everyone!!! I am new to raising and having chickens! I just have four chickens now. They are Road Island Red (Rose), Golden Laced Wyadoote (Blanche), Buff Orphington (Sophia), and a Cockoo Maran (Dorothy). Yes, my chickens are all named after the Golden Girls. I will also be getting 10 pharaoh quails. I am a full time college nursing student and mom. My children are super excited about having chickens and quails. Hoping to expand to having more chickens and quails soon! I hope to meet others and learn new advice from everyone. I decided to join BYC to find others who like raising chickesnas much as I do!
