Hello everyone!

After wanting chickens for years we were finally in the position add them to our family this spring. We have checked out BYC many times over the years but as we spend countless hours researching all things chicken, we have realized that a wealth of information is available here. Thank you BYC! While we are working on reworking our coop, we have 12 chicks in our brooder. We are questioning a couple of the labels on our babies but we are supposed to have Black Australorp, Blue Orpington, Lavender Orpington and Bovan Brown pullets and two straight run Black Asians. Having chicks while we are all under stay at home orders has led to extremely spoiled chicks and happy children. We are looking forward to learning more and sharing this adventure.
