Hello!

I am raising and keeping coturnix quail for about 2 years now. I started with a cheap incubator and hatched 3 chicks. Luckily, two where hens. I re-read everything, brought a new incubator and now there are 11 fluffballs running around outside.
And since raising quail is a serious addiction, I have another 30 eggs in my incubator.

Some pictures of my babies.

My younglings, about 10 weeks old now

Bumblebee and Strawberry are about a year old now and the only two hens from my hatch last year.

On the left is my 2 year old Berta and her rooster. They came from a breeder with two other hens (who have passed away some time ago). They are a bonded pair and mostly hang out with eachother, but still get along fine with the rest.

And the last surviving quail from my first hatch. Her name is Number Three (but she is secretly my number one).
She hasn't moulted once in two years and is quite feisty.

This really seems to be a great place for learning more about quail and other poultry.
I am happy to have joined you!
