Hi! My name is Brooklynne. I live in Nebraska and currently don't have a flock of my own yet. However, I am hoping to change that soon. I am new to keeping chickens and am eager to learn any tips and tricks to help ensure my hens will get the best care. I am looking forward to the experience of learning about and caring for chickens with my 2 year old son. He is very enthused with animals and I can't wait to teach him all about them and the responsibility that comes with keeping pets. Aside from wanting to begin keeping chickens, some of my other hobbies include buying too many house plants and going to the zoo. I work in long-term care and have done so for over 5 years now. Caring for people and animals is a passion of mine, and I can't wait to expand on that. I am looking forward to be a part of the BackYard Chickens community!
