Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is well and prosperous. So my name is Lindsay but I represent my family, the Thompson family. New to homesteading, we only have about a year and a half experience.
Our first animals we chickens which we purchased from tractor supply, about 6 of them. We were able to hatch babe chickens, which has brought up our count to about 18-20 chickens in our pasture currently, with about four new hatchlings almost ready to join the flock.
Our family also has acquired three turkeys and two ducks among many other animals. We usually get out information from watching our favorite homesteading YouTubers, but I stumbled on this website looking for help when we decided to hatch our own chickies. Once I realized there was a community, of farmers, homesteaders and animal lovers I just had to sign up.
