Hi my name is Laurie, I have been reading post through facebook wondering how to become a member...... then it hit me got to the actual site! So here I am.
I have been around chickens and turkeys all my life, as my grandfather aka "Chicken Man" raised them. I now have a small flock of my own. 1 Barred Rock Rooster, named Charlie and 12 laying hens. I recently got 4 coments that are now 6 weeks old, cutest things ever..... they look like calico cats! I look forward to reading everyone's stories about their birds and adventures in backyard farming.
