Hi!
My name is Alison and I live in Morrison, Colorado with my husband Brandon, my dog Ariel, my horses Pistol and Ralph, and of course my chickens! I have nine chickens: Three Rhode Island Reds, a Black Australorp, Silver Laced Wyandotte, two Araucanas, a California White, and a Barred Rock. This is my first hurrah in the chicken game, but I am really enjoying it. I have always been a huge animal lover, and my husband and I would like to run our own cattle and big game ranch someday. We don't have quite enough space for the cattle (yet!), so we started a little smaller. The first five girls are 18 weeks and the next four are about 9 weeks. I'm really looking forward to the first egg as well as learning more about chickens. Have a great day!
