Hi, I have looked at some posts on this community before, but only just now joined.
I got my first chickens in 2021.
I have eight chickens currently living with me.
Most of my chickens are silkies. One of my hens is a silkie mix. Her mother is a welsummer, I think. I also had a Rhode Island Red hen. Unfortunately she passed away in May. She was my very first hen.
I don't really raise them in that sense. They're pets and family members. I like watching them, petting them and cuddling them.
Some of my other hobbies are playing video games, listening to music, drawing and also spending time with other animals.
I don't have a job yet, but I'd rather not go further into detail about this.
I found this community through searching for information about chickens. I decided to join because I hope to meet other chicken friends here who might also be able to help me with chicken-related problems.
