Yep! Counties can have odd rules.

I have also read that some places in the county have Home Owners Association rules. Unless someone inspects you would likely be able to keep a bit more hens though. I want more than 4 because I need at least 6 to keep me in eggs

Do you sell your eggs? The most I plan to do with them is make breakfasts for my Air B&B clients....assuming we go that route. (We have 2 extra bedrooms and would like to make a little money on the side.) I will probably start baking again though, if we end up having too many to eat.

I used to sell them. I am down to 6 now so use the eggs for my family

Oh, you're so close to me actually. I'm in Crestline, relatively near the lake. I put Lake Arrowhead in my profile though because nobody except the locals know where Crestline is. Even people from LA!
