Hello.... I would like to introduce myself, I'm Amanda Mills, wife of 22 years to Joe, mother of 2 kids (20 & 18), a shitzu baby Rufus, a black lab baby Lucy, a St Bernard baby Bruno. I am a care taker of hogs and cows and chickens- recently adopted 11 more hens. Their mom and dad were moving and couldn't take them so our family was thrilled to welcome them. Well from research I knew the adjustment would slow egg production down but my girls are on strike. This is their 2nd week with us, first week we got 28 eggs, which was about half of what they were giving before the move, but this week they gave me one! Is this normal should I be doing something??? Any advice is greatly appreciated.....
and Welcome To BYC!
