I have had several different breeds over the years but eventually settled on the breeds in my signature. I am a breeder. I show my birds at poultry shows. I hatch out a lot of chicks every year of which around half will be males. I do grow them out and keep the best as future breeders. The extra males I sell which helps to offset the cost of the feed. We have a local farm swap where I sell the birds. I do have buyers so I usually sell all of the birds I take to sell. I do keep the females. I sell eggs both fertile and for eating.
