We were actually talking about making the LLC "Too Tall Hobbits" (I am 5'9 and my husband 6'7" - I married the world's largest Hobbit!). My soaps are actually sold as Shire SoapsWelcome. Enjoy your new lovely flock. Be careful out in your woods, there may be a Hobbit village there!

The brown one looks like a cochin too, but has NO feathers yet. Everyone else has a few. Will have to look more into what breeds mature fastest. I read cochins can take 2 years to get fully grown!
Very cool! I believe you can do woodblock printing on T-shirts, minimal setup required. I mostly did intaglio on copper plates. We’ll see how the quail goes, I just have my first batch due to hatch this week! Kinda nervous!I am a recovering fishaholic actually - bred cichlids for a few years, considered making one of my 55 gal tanks the brooder!I love printmaking - so much more tactile than my pixel-pushing. I wish i had a setup for screenprinting right now so I could do my own shirts for the farmer's market. Would love to hear more about your experiences with quail, something else I've considered adding, along with ducks and guardian geese.
