I hadn't heard of seramas before. They are beautiful birds. I'm not real sure on what bantams. I'm not sure what's available. I prefer a docile, friendly bird. I'll have to do more research maybe get in contact with the club. I'm open to suggestions. Orpingtons? Brahmas? Cochins? I have a lot to learn before I decide.


I won a few prizes at their raffle. I was hoping for the chick starter kit. No luck with that though. I donated the T-shirts they gave away.

Hey there! I'm new as well. I have 6 silkie bantams and they're awesome! Only thing i worry about is the red tail hawks so they probably won't be free ranging with the larger ladies. Have 2 EE's and they will be free ranging most likely. They're all pretty much lap chickens. Welcome even though I'm new myself.
