I need some advise if you can help. My pekins and khaki have out grown their duck house and runner now they are laying eggs. I'm going to expand their house. They are not broody yet but will they get upset if I move the nest that they have been laying eggs In. I have made two of their nest, they are still learning. What should I do.YESSSS!!! A duck person!!! I am here for ducks to and hope to see you around!I love keeping count of the people I meet in a day who own ducks! I am proud to say you are #4
If they are growing out of there house you need to make it bigger and give them some extra space. I would take the nest out and then make them a new nest one you are done with the expansion. I would put an egg or golf ball in the new nest you make so they know that is where they are to lay there eggs. My ducks lay them all over. One day there are by the door of the coop others they are in the very back. So glad I can help! I am here to answer your Q...and thanks for following me!I need some advise if you can help.
