It's us, noelle_and_jj. Just set up our account and figured we'd introduce ourselves.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are total newbs– just starting out! Our coop is nearly complete and we'll be picking up our girls in a couple of weeks.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
We are looking into getting Buff Orpingtons and Easter Eggers. Feel free to convince us otherwise
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
We recently became homeowners and want to reduce waste as much as possible, so we look forward to giving our chickens lots of nutritious food scraps. We also love animals and fresh, yummy eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We have a lot of fun hosting friends and family, especially when we get to bake and cook for them (and ourselves).
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We love our perfect goldendoodle more than anything. (Doodle haters can leave.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
We've been doing a lot of research and Googling to make sure that we take really good care of our chickens when we get them. BYC is always the best source of super helpful information, so we wanted to join the party.
