Hi from Langley, BC!
I am new to BYC, and I am not a proud chicken owner..yet!
April 20 is the arrival date for our twelve beautiful day olds. I'm planning on getting partridge rock and speckled sussex!
I have never owned chickens before, so I'm excited to try something new! I've been doing a lot of research the last couple of months to get myself prepared. BYC has definitely been one of my go-to sites when I have questions!
My landlords are in the process of restoring a small heritage train stop to be our henhouse. They just finished the roof yesterday!
These hens are going to be livin' the good life once they're old enough to move in.
I'm originally from Eastern Oregon, but moved to BC for university, and have been living here for almost 5 years now.
Some of my hobbies include gardening, quilting, rock climbing, hiking/camping, and running!
