Hello from Bucks, UK

Completely new to world of chickens but have been mulling over the idea for about a year now, with plenty of research to go with it (much of it from BYC).

We have a sweet spot in the garden which was begging for a coop or a swing set, and this lockdown has given us plenty of time to finalise on a design and get building. Completion is round the corner and soon we hope to welcome five little chicks into our family...one for each member of the household.

Thank you for the warm welcome

It was but a lonely swing, where these two dreamt of bigger adventures...

Before taking this pic, I asked her what she was thinking.

"I'm imagining a big castle daddy"

so now it's a chicken-swing-set-castle-coop?

After some careful planning, we started digging trenches...I mean holes for the pillars to go in. And so it begins...quickly, before this project morphs into something else.
