Hello from Canada!

Hi everyone! I just got my first chickens on august 20th. My brother and I built a chicken coop in our backyard as a covid project and just got 6 Rhode Island Red hens. Two chickens are 12 weeks old and 4 are a year old. We got chickens as something to do at home during covid and because our dad is allergic to many animals so we can't have a pet in the house. We also wanted to be able to have fresh eggs: so far we have gotten 4.
