Greetings from Balltown, Colorado. I'm a long time lurker, but for some reason, never joined. All of my questions have always been answered by searching, but I thought maybe I could share some of my experience. I jumped into chickens with both feet in about 2014. I built a rather large, extravagant coop for 15 sex-linked chickens. We now have 42 birds of various breeds and ages. We also breed (and sometimes sell 
) Fainting Goats, and raise pigs in the summer. While I am strictly the Department of Labor on the farm, my wife has taken our hobby to the next level by developing a website and turning our love for animals into a business.
