Hi everyone! I live in the suburbs in Colorado with my flock of chickens, mostly Naked Necks or Turkens. Last Saturday one of my girls, Elvira, won Champion Any Other Standard Breed at the National Western Stock Show, which was pretty cool for a chicken I pulled out of my backyard coop the day before! LOL! I keep them for fun and for eggs. Turkens are the BEST winter layers ever. I get 4-5 eggs a day from my 8 girls with no supplemental light or heat, even when it gets down to 1 degree. I'm in school right now and can't wait to graduate and move out to the country to get more chickens! Here's some pics below of my lovely ladies.
