Total chicken newbie here, but excited to meet everyone on BYC. Been wanting chickens for years and have been lurking here on and off. We just bought a small family farm that we're moving to later this spring so we can finally start a coop. Chicks coming in a couple of weeks so lots of questions and lots of things to get ready for them. Appreciate all the good advice and friendly people here.

We're getting Dominiques, Buff Orpingtons, and Black Australops. Three of each from Cackle arriving ~April 15th.

Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined! Make sure that you have everything that you will need to help your chick's to thrive well, and they will need to be fully feathered to go out to a coop. Make sure that the coop is predator-proof and a bit bigger than what you think that you will need for the amount of chicken's that you will be getting. Good luck!
