Sounds like you are ready to go!! I hope all your birds are happy and healthy! The thermometer will help tremendously, but don't rely on just that. Watch to see what the chicks do. If they are constantly huddle together under the light, they are cold. if they are in the opposite corner, it may be too hot. A nice spreading all over the brooder is perfect. Be very careful with your water, so that no one falls in and drowns, but make sure its clean and accessible to all. Check them daily for pasty butt, and have liquid vitamins on hand for emergencies!

Most of the time, the chicks do great, but now and then, there are some that struggle. Its always good to be prepared! They will grow very fast, and you will soon find yourself changing water, and refilling feed 3x per day!

But when you get your first egg..... its totally worth i!
