WEll Hello And What a Beautiful Story ! If Possible It would be wonderful if you could get your new chick a couple Friends .. they are Social and do like the comany of others and its Really just about as easy to keep three as it is one .. lol Chicks are Fun pets and Really dont need Fancy homes but of course Baby Chicks do need to be warm for several weeks ..I would have to know more about your yard and home to give good advice.. As a Side note I Am also an adoptive Mother I was blessed enough to adopt three of my 7 children .Welcome To BYC !! there will not be many Questions you could have that wont be answered here .. This is a great site
