I am a newish chicken convert in Kittitas Valley. I was gifted an old tractor in the summer and 5 hens (Buff Orpington and Barred Rocks) and an Americana rooster the fall. Due to faulty fencing lost 4 of the chickens to the overzealous dog. So with my appetite for raising chickens whetted I went off and ordered a pile of Buckeyes in October. Anyway, I have been lurking here getting lots of Buckeye info since the fall and figuring out what the heck I am doing. Awesome resource!!
