New to chickens and now have chicks, too! I've been reading things on this site for a couple of months and wanted to join in the conversations. Looking forward to learning more about my breeds through the more experienced chicken farmers. :)

Hello,

Are you still "in to" chickens? I am considering starting a small flock of hens. From this site, I read that I can have 3 hens within the city, and as long as they are kept clean, and not a nuisance, I am OK. There isn't anything that says their coop needs to be a certain distance from the house or neighbor. What is your understanding of this? I would be really sad if I got them, and had to take it all down.

Hi Kathy, welcome to BYC! You are responding to an old post from 2014 and probably won't get many (if any) responses. Click on the "Start a New Thread" button in the upper left, type in your questions and comments then click on the blue Submit button. Doing that will post your own introductory post and give more members a chance to welcome you and maybe answer your questions.
