Some of my coops are metal and some are wood. The coops made with wood have had some rot on the bottom of the wood on the coops which most of the wood has been replaced. We were planning on doing all of the coops with metal but didn't. We did put metal roofs on them. We still have some work to do on them that we have been putting off until the weather got cooler. I guess we can get back to work now since the weather is cooler.
