Welcome!
I'd also like to see your chickens and roosters!
Where and what do you fish?
In the creeks we get rainbow trout, blue gill, and steelhead. We have to share with the otters though. The otters in the creek are large animals which are fun to watch, but they sure can eat! We also have a salmon spawning creek, and it's cool to watch them come back. In some places there are fish ladders to help them on their way.
In the lakes we get 2 kinds of trout, blue gill, and large mouthed bass. Clear Lake, which is the largest natural lake in the state, and possibly the oldest in the country, has some of the best bass fishing in the west, and a lot of tournaments are held there.
In the ocean there are salmon and tuna, plus surf fish, and cod. Also, abalone. The shells are really great. There are more in each, of course, but those are the ones we usually fish for/eat.
I hope that you get your barnvelders!
