Aloha from another newbie from Kaneohe, Oahu! In Hawaii there are lots of opportunities to "find" chickens just about anywhere.

I originally started with two, and have now increased to five chickens including two chicks that I "found" in my backyard. Their mama either forgot or abandoned them, so now they have found a new home and some new friends.

Glad to see another Hawaii person here! Best of luck with your new buddies. Chickens are addicting, don't be surprised if your little flock starts growing, lol.
