In 2020, we got three chicks ( 1-buff orpington, 1-red rhode island, 1-barred rock). Our barred rock passed in February this year, and I cried for days. I've never felt so sad for a chicken. Every time I think of her, tears would fall. I still think of what I could've done to keep her alive. My buff orpington and red rhode island last laid an egg over 15 months ago. My buff orpington is not well right now. I am looking for help on this thread.
Spring of 2022, we added four chicks to the group. (2-silver phoenix, 1-red rhode island, 1-golden sexlinks). They all started laying eggs fall of 2022.
My chickens are a joy to watch and care for.
