(1) In the beginning...there was Elmer (named for the glue applied to the crack in his egg from which he successfully hatched). I was 5 and my mom, younger brother & I carefully damped and turned Elmer in his lightbulb incubator until he hatched & was our pet til the fall & he went back to my aunt’s farm.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 5
(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred rock, Marans, Welsummer
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Walking around with them & working in yard while listening to them purr & cluck contentedly.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Painting

Have a lovely husband, a 3 year old & a Havanese dog.
