I do hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.
 
Thank you all! My family is loving having our chickens, and my youngest is excited to help butcher our meaties sometime in the next few weeks. They're all about 4-4.5 lbs now, and my guess is that they're 5 weeks old (I got them as an impulse buy on a bad day at D&B, haha). I've been lurking since February and finally decided to join recently. I love to learn, and I've fallen in love with chickens, both egg laying and meat varieties :)
