Hello all, I’m rather new to the chicken world. We have two white leghorn pullets who are ready to lay any day now. We’re also the proud owner of 3 3.5 week old chicks.
We have a silver laced wyandotte which I believe is a roo. We have a Easter egger and a barred rock that has me stumped on its gender.

Having chicks and chickens have been excellent for my mental health. I simply can’t explain it. Waking up every morning to care for them is one of my favorite things to do.

Some hobbies of mine are homesteading. We’re trying to live off grid and be self sufficient.

I’m married with two young daughters ages 6 and 4.

3 weeks of googling has always led me to backyard chickens. Lol
