My wife, our two-year old, and I live in Evansville, Indiana. We're going to start raising chickens for the first time this Spring, and we're so excited. We've chosen Buff Orps because we've read they seem ideal for a semi-urban/urban setting. We have about a 1/4 acre, but they will be confined to our back yard - actually to a coop/pen unless we are out with them. We'd appreciate any advice.
