Hi! Long time reader on this site! I've found so much helpful info here! I started my first flock about 13 years ago with a couple roos from an outdoor flea market and I've been hooked ever since! Currently I have a fun assortment of standard chickens, some bantams, ducks, a few turkeys and some pet pigs, bunnies, an onery old goat, cats, dogs and a sweet little green parakeet that loves to watch over and talk to the baby chicks in his aviary (we brood chicks in there to protect them from the house cat). I'm hoping to add some geese to the mix soon and I'd love to have guineas again too. I've got 2 wonderful daughters and a husband that complains constantly about all the animals but brings home more of them than I do, lol. Anyway that's a bit about me and I'm looking forward ro being a part of the community here!
