We just moved out of city limits and had a new house built on 4 acres. Now we are thinking about getting a few chickens. I want to make an educated choice and make sure its right for me. Honestly chickens are a lil creepy once they get big

No chickens right now. But that might change.
(3) What breeds do you have?
This is something I want to research here. I would like to find a couple breeds that would be good for egg laying and also that are friendly that my younger (6 and 8) kids would like.
