Thank you for making me feel so welcome :) Hoping novelty of keeping chickens wont wear off. They have cost a small fortune in adapting the garden. Time now to reap the benefits. When are you getting your chickens Dikbiscuit?

For me it'll be a long way off before I can get my chickens (first I have to make sure the council will let me, they told me chickens are sometimes allowed - no cockerels because of the crowing - provided they're suitably housed, clean and looked after.) Out of courtesy I'll be letting the neighbours know (let one neighbour know at the mo) I'd be getting chooks in case of noise at unsociable hours. I want to build a coop (despite no building know-how :P) that works with the garden. Here's hoping it all goes well.
