For me it'll be a long way off before I can get my chickens (first I have to make sure the council will let me, they told me chickens are sometimes allowed - no cockerels because of the crowing - provided they're suitably housed, clean and looked after.) Out of courtesy I'll be letting the neighbours know (let one neighbour know at the mo) I'd be getting chooks in case of noise at unsociable hours. I want to build a coop (despite no building know-how ) that works with the garden. Here's hoping it all goes well.
