Hello from Jersey

Hi, I just recently started raising chickens (started with 6 pullets). I have 2 Americanas, 2 Buff Orpingtons and 2 Rhode Island Reds all of which are 8 weeks old. I started this endeavor with my daughter about 2 weeks ago with the building of the coop, and with the purchase of the "ladies" on saturday . So far it's been a fun and rewarding experience, made much easier with the knowledge and info gained while trolling BYC - Thanks a Million!!! I hope to get to know some of your fellow BYCers alot better in the near future.
