    Thank you I am excited.... looked like a great place to be.... I am a new chicken owner... and anxious to learn so much more... right now we are molting and not laying good???

    Welcome to BYC [​IMG] Glad you joined us! Molting is quite hard on chickens physically and they need a lot of protein to regrow feathers, so they won't lay well, if at all during this time. Feeding them high protein food and snacks like cooked eggs, mealworms, a little dry cat food now and then, will help them a lot.

    Just wanted to let you know I am here.... but don't know how to really work this site... but....I have enjoyed reading all the helpful advice for my chickens and hope to grow with learning it...and your guided help...lol...
