Thank you I am excited.... looked like a great place to be.... I am a new chicken owner... and anxious to learn so much more... right now we are molting and not laying good???

Glad you joined us! Molting is quite hard on chickens physically and they need a lot of protein to regrow feathers, so they won't lay well, if at all during this time. Feeding them high protein food and snacks like cooked eggs, mealworms, a little dry cat food now and then, will help them a lot.
 
Just wanted to let you know I am here.... but don't know how to really work this site... but....I have enjoyed reading all the helpful advice for my chickens and hope to grow with learning it...and your guided help...lol...
