We are mostly doing our research and planning. We live within the city limits, so have some restrictions.
Considering muscovy or quail, because we need something that is quiet.
Oh, and I am dead set on getting a pet Sebastapol Goose. Nancy Townsend was an amazing inspiration to me, she was the author of "Duck, there's a goose in the house!".
Outside of that, we are a family of four plus my assistance dog and a cat or three. I'm disabled and no longer work (or at least no longer get paid). We are attempting to do a little urban homestead in order to provide a better quality of nutrition for our two sons. Our weather is both a blessing and a challenge, we get very little rain but lots of wind and heat.
